I am a Chelsea related blogger in Chinese social media SNS（Weibo and Wechat), my nickname is 86. Just two single numbers.

Chinese fans all know Chelsea is not the most famous foreign football club in our country, even not the top 5. Maybe due to the lack of commercial connections, Chinese fans cannot get the direct resources & information from our club.

Needless to talk about designing a trip to Stamford Bridge, applying official True Blue memberships or buying tickets directly from the official website. And due to some political issues, even the membership holders cannot use Chelsea Ticket website for purchasing a single ticket for ourselves, it is not easy to use foreign websites just like that in the U.K.

Some travel agencies started to provide this kind of trip with a whopping price. The loyalty from Chinese fans are “realised”.

Until the last game, everything was OK. Some fans from China enjoyed their journeys. They were not True Blue members, but they went here with their respect and love. Most of them will not come here in the future. But this is “Mecca” in their mind, a sacred place for them. They want to get here every week, but if it is not possible, once is enough in their life.

We have some volunteers who provide the membership for us. Most of them are graduated student who had memberships before. They renew their memberships（?25 a year） not for themselves, but for the Chinese fans. Because these fans cannot apply True Blue easily, because of language barrier, VISA &MasterCard barrier (we use Unionpay in China) and network barrier.
We even cannot use Google just like the people in the rest of the world. The volunteers even do not know othe rmembers’ real names in Chinese. But we have a common & unique name——Chinese Chelsea fans, so we are linked together, and do something “big” for CFC fans in our country, and ask for “Thanks a lot” as a reward.

But not for long, November 5th, the day I will remember forever. The ticket office did not send the tickets I bought to me with an absurd reason——Attend on the day of the game to pick tickets so that we know these are genuine people and not those of the ones who were suspended before at the address.

But they did not give me anychance for explanation. They repeated many times I broke the conditions and misused the membership. I told them we did not sell it for extra money. But they insisted that the members did not know the real ticket users (Because I am the real payer for these tickets for these Chinese fans, they definitely do not know each other) so it meant that I misused their memberships. And they did not allow me to ask the members to send emails to the ticket office to formalise the authorisation. They would repeat these platitudes to you.Ridiculous.

Did I really broke the terms and conditions? I am not sure, because they did't defy what is “misuse” in the real sense.

Maybe yes, this might be Chinese CFC fans’ destiny. We do not have a direct and applicable way to buy Chelsea tickets. The staff in ticket office even asked me a question: “Why don’t they sign up for their own memberships by themselves?”

We cannot give out any strong evidence to prove this is a general problem because Chinese people always swallow any unfair treatment to them.
